Microbiological Waste Disposal Procedure

• Micro waste must be placed only in the red plastic pails available in Science Stores
• Prior to Wednesday, email Health.Safety@uregina.ca to notify us of what waste you are dropping off
• Stop by 'Waste Wednesday' to drop off your waste. The Chemical & Lab Safety Advisor will be present to accept the waste and it will be stored in the disposal room until the next BioMed pick-up
• Barcodes, unique to your Lab, are placed on the waste containers
